It was so nice knowing all our meals were basically prepped ahead of time and required little time in the kitchen. Weeks like this we would often eat out more often but happy to say we didn’t!! All the meals this week have been fantastic. In fact my husband said “not one bad meal yet!” I’m quickly realizing this reset is not only for me but for our family as well! I GET to enjoy the outdoors this weekend because all our dinners are prepped for the weekend!
Wow! I just completed Amy’s January Real Food Reset and it was exactly what I needed! It was easy to follow, fun to be a part of, and best of all - delicious!!! Not once did I feel deprived and my results include an increase in energy, a weight loss of 5lbs, improved sleep, and clearer skin! Amy goes above and beyond with daily interaction, education, and support, and the Facebook group allowed us to connect and share with each other as well! For some time I’ve known that I needed to do something to improve my health. My energy was not where I wanted it to be and my sleep habits needed some work. To be honest I wasn’t quite sure what the Reset was all about, but it seemed like a great first step. As soon as I got an e-mail from Amy with a link to the members page I knew this was going to be great! Amy does a wonderful job of explaining everything about the reset in a clear and concise manner. For me, the support of the Facebook group was highly motivating. Amy provided an online environment that lent itself to being a place where we could be open and honest with one another, it really is something special. The food was absolutely amazing! As a mom of two small children there is nothing better than having everyone enjoy the same dish. I honestly can’t remember the last time I’ve consistently felt this good! I’ve lost pounds and inches but what I’ve gained from the reset is immeasurable.
The real food reset is an amazing foundation to learn how to fall in love with delicious nutritious foods to fuel your body for the day. The great thing is you never feel deprived and the weight comes off without ever feeling like you’re on a diet. The on going support and knowledge from Amy makes the 28 days effortless and easy as the guess work is already done, just shop and cook and you’re ready to roll.
I was hesitant to sign up for the Reset as I wasn’t sure I could stick to a plan for 28 days. Thankfully I convinced myself I would sign up and at least try a few of the recipes. Once I got the first week’s plan and shopping list, I was hooked. It was convenient that you could make as few or as many recipes that you wanted and you could swap out or add ingredients easily with the help of an approved food list. With every recipe, I was amazed at how delicious and filling each meal was. Besides all that, the Facebook group and Amy’s posts are very informative. I’ve learned so much and I’ve developed some new lifelong habits thanks to Amy’s Real Food Reset!
Doing a reset provided many benefits, more than I have space to list. The most important one for me was its effect on my depression and anxiety. It is hard for some to imagine but, when someone has severe depression, just the thought of making a salad can seem insurmountable. Having a grocery list, meal plan and setting aside time on specific days to cook helped in many ways. I haven't made this many meals (let alone healthy ones) for 4 weeks in a row since I became severely depressed over 15 years ago. Thank you Amy!
Where to start? I know that I set out wanting to lose weight. I did that. But the further into the reset, the more I realised that the loss of weight was secondary. I have become more mindful of what I eat. I eat without guilt and I eat food to fuel my body. My hope is to stay with the whole food approach going forward. I now believe that food can heal your body and your mind. Thanks for the guidance Amy
The reset taught me valuable skills to strategically create my own meal plans and cook new delicious meals. I learned so many new recipes that were fun to cook and had so much support along the way from Amy and the other group members. In 4 weeks I have lost 8 pounds, have a clearer complexion and have got rid of inflammation. I would highly recommend this program to anyone!
Amy you have changed my life. I am far from where I hope to be, but you got me on a path there. I have struggled with changing my eating to lose weight, but your recipes and advice really work for me. The food was so good it hardly felt like I was restricted to no grain, dairy, sugar. You were there to answer all my questions and were supportive as well as motivating throughout. Worth every penny!
I did the January Reset and it was amazing! Excellent recipes and easy to follow instructions all laid out for you. Even the grocery list was made! And to top it off the recipes are yours to keep and use forever! I can’t wait for the next set of recipes to do it again!
I loved the ease of not wondering what to eat or cook! I really notice weight loss of course but just an overall feeling of wellbeing. I love it! Lots of energy, better sleep, feeling fantastic!
I feel better both physically and mentally. Less stressed and more organized. Also grocery budget has drastically reduced & cupboards have never been more organized. I have been feeling much better the past few weeks so I know it's not only a dairy issue. There is more to the story. Down 12 lbs. Overall... I would just like to say thank you. You've made a lifestyle change that seemed unmanageable a smooth transition.
I lost 15lb during the Reset and the following months continued to follow the guidelines and lost another 10lbs. At 53 (yikes I can’t believe I put that in writing), I never though I would be able to achieve such a weight loss. I can’t wait for some yummy fall dishes to keep myself on this awesome Amy approved journey of renewed energy, personal achievements and overall well being.
I began my first reset exactly 1 year ago! My first reset was a huge change in our normal food. But the benefits outweighed the challenges. I continued to buy the resets from Amy and I can proudly say I’ve lost 25 lbs over the year and I’ve been able to keep it off. I’ve also seen improvements in my sleep and energy. I loved participating in the Real food Reset. Amy provides us with easy to follow meal plans and amazing recipes. She also gave us the tools to be able to carry on with the reset ourselves, in the future. I have tried recipes that In the past I would skip over. Until you try the reset, you won’t realize how good, real food can make you feel. I have more energy, no cravings, I’m sleeping better, and have even noticed my nails are stronger. I don’t have brain fog anymore and far less, to no mood swings! Amy is very supportive throughout the program! I highly recommend it!
I have a confession to make...I didn’t tell my husband I was doing the reset. I wanted him to go into the new recipes with a blank slate. We’ve both been talking about getting healthier, and I make 97% of the meals in the house, so it makes sense that I would be taking the lead. Yet again, he went nuts for the dinner! He said “I don’t know how you are doing this, but you nailed it, AGAIN! I’m in love with what we’ve been eating!” Thank you Amy!!!! I told him all about the reset and he’s so on board and wants to start doing breakfasts and lunches too! Usually he eats cereal for breakfast and lunch at work.
I found that until I truly started to eat healthy, thanks to this reset, I didn’t realize how amazing food can make me feel. I used find myself grabbing salty foods, chocolate, and drink too much coffee throughout the day. I would be dragging my butt all afternoon. Now I crave vegetables and fruit, and drink a lot more water and less coffee. I don’t need food (or wine) to “comfort” me and I have a constant energy throughout the day. I can go on. This reset has been amazing!
My non scale accomplishments include a new energy I have not had in years.I have exercised every day,even after a long day at work. I walked 10km outside today and soaked up some sun! We are creating new set of priorities based around our health and wellness, I like where this is headed!!
I'm proud of my new relationship with food! It’s fun to prepare and whole foods make me feel great! I love the success of making new and healthy recipes. Guilt free eating is a good thing!
